Bonni is a professional story developer, editor, and trainer on advocacy and storytelling. Their services range from manuscript reviews, full-day workshops, to months-long individual mentorships.
For aspiring writers, they specialise in bringing social and psychological realism to the page, sharpening character arcs as they grapple with identities and making a manuscript more grounded on contemporary issues.
For non-writer campaigners, they specialise in building narratives that elevate the importance of key issues being advocated while avoiding melodrama, victim-pitying, and on-the-nose messaging.
Across the board, Bonnibel is passionate in helping socially conscious, liberation-driven writers and advocates—especially underrepresented Asians and/or members of the LGBTQ+, disabled, neurodivergent, and/or undocumented communities—find their voice.
Bonnibel strives to make their services as accessible as possible, and is willing to offer special rates for grassroots collectives and clients from the Global Majority World. If this sounds like you, feel free to book a call and let us know about your situation.
If you're still unsure or otherwise unable to book a call, send an email to hello@bonnibel.net. They strive to reply to every inquiry they receive within 1-2 weeks.
Please do not send any manuscripts or request to be included in any of the anthologies Bonni edits unless previously solicited.
